1. The Main Autumn Inspection — Score Every Hive Before Anything Else
The first action of August is a structured, hive-by-hive inspection. This is not the spring inspection (where everything is full of hope and nectar) or the mid-summer inspection (where everything is full of bees). It is the audit. You are scoring each colony on three dimensions: queen quality, population strength, and food reserves. The numbers you write on the clipboard decide which colonies get merged, which get a new queen, and which get fed aggressively versus which can wait.

2. Stimulating the Queen — Imitate a Nectar Flow with 1:1 Syrup
